House Rules

Dear cinema guests,

 

in order to make your stay in our cinema as pleasant as possible and to ensure a smooth and trouble-free operation, the following house rules apply to our cinema:

  1. 1. The area of application for these house rules is the entire cinema building including the entrance as well as the associated outdoor areas. In case of violation of one or more regulations of the house rules, the cinema reserves the right to expel, ban or take any other legal action at any time, at its own discretion.

  3. 2. Admission to the auditorium is only permitted with a valid ticket. The date and time stated on the ticket as well as the row and seat number are mandatory. Upon request, the ticket and any discount certificate used must be presented at all times. The ticket must be kept until leaving the cinema. Guests who are found in the auditorium without a valid cinema ticket are obliged to pay a penalty of EUR 60,- and will be banned from the premises.

  5. 3. Change received at the time of purchase must be checked immediately for its completeness. Tickets received are also to be checked for correctness (film title, date, time, seat, etc.). Later claims cannot be considered. The claiming of a discount must be made known to the box office staff before the tickets are printed out and must be proven by suitable documents.

  7. 4. Tickets may be exchanged as a gesture of goodwill up to 60 minutes before the start of the respective screening, but without any legal entitlement to do so. The screening also includes trailers, etc., which are shown before the main film.

  9. 5. Reclaims of paid admission fees, which are based on the content of the screened films, are excluded. The cinema is not liable for any physical or psychological effects resulting from the content or quality of the films shown.

  11. 6. For the protection of infants and small children, the cinema reserves the right not to allow children under the age of three to enter the cinema halls.

  13. 7. The cinema reserves the right to make subsequent changes to the program, playing times, etc. that have already been printed or published elsewhere.

  15. 8. Due to mandatory legal provisions, including the Youth Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany, the cinema is obliged to ensure compliance with the provisions of the Voluntary Control of the Film Industry (FSK age rating). In case of doubt, the age must be proven by an appropriate document (identity card, passport, student ID).

  17. 9. Photography, film, video and sound recordings are prohibited in the auditorium without prior written authorization from the cinema. Films are copyrighted works according to §2 Abs. 1 Nr. 6 UrhG. Duplication, distribution or public reproduction of these works without the express consent of the copyright holder is punishable under §106 in conjunction with §15, 16, 17 UrhG. §15, 16, 17 UrhG. In particular, the recording of images and sound during a public performance is prohibited under §106, 16 in conjunction with. §53 para. 7 UrhG. To detect the use of recording devices, cinemas can be monitored with appropriate technology. The cinema is legally obligated to report any attempt of filming. The cinema reserves its right to assert claims for damages.
  1. 10. As the cinema is also a licensed and officially controlled catering establishment, it is prohibited to bring your own food and drinks.

  3. 11. Smoking is prohibited in the entire cinema building. This also applies to e-cigarettes and similar stimulants that produce smoke or odors.

  5. 12. Blocking escape routes is prohibited.

  7. 13. The use of skateboards, inline skates, pedal scooters and similar objects is prohibited in the building.

  9. 14. Pets are not allowed to be brought into the auditorium (with the exception of registered assistance dogs).

  11. 15. Bringing any kind of weapons, fireworks, sharp or pointed objects or objects that pose a danger in any way is prohibited. The use of open fire, flammable liquids and gases, pyrotechnic objects and other explosive substances is prohibited. The bringing of objects that are likely to disrupt operations is prohibited.

  13. 16. The cinema declines any liability for valuables, wardrobe and other objects brought into the building in the event of loss, theft, or damage due to external influence.

  15. 17. Persons who enter the building under the influence of alcohol, drugs or other intoxicants will be expelled from the building. The same applies to persons who get into such a state while inside the building. In such cases, there is no right to a refund of admission fees already paid.

  17. 18. Persons who in any way damage, dismantle or remove the furnishings or other components of the building will be expelled from the building. The cinema expressly reserves the right to assert claims for damages over and above this. The same applies to persons who threaten, endanger, or injure other persons or otherwise disrupt the orderly operation of the building. In these cases, there is no entitlement to a refund of admission fees already paid.

  19. 19. The distribution or sale of brochures, flyers, other printed matter, promotional items or other objects is prohibited without the prior written consent of the cinema.

  21. 20. Entering the stage is only permitted with the explicit written permission of the cinema management. Liability claims will be asserted for damage to the screen or the stage area.

  23. 20. In the event of danger, the instructions of the cinema staff must be followed in any case.
